Sheerin A. Siddique
Ms. Siddique’s practice area is a combination of both Health Care and Employee Benefits Law with a focus on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). She represents multiemployer Fringe Benefit Funds, and advises on federal and state compliance issues, negotiates investment, provider, and vendor contracts, and prepares plan policies and procedures, as well as plan documents. Ms. Siddique has been with the firm since 2018, bringing 8 years of health care law experience. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Siddique represented health care providers and suppliers on a vast range of transactional and regulatory matters, counseling them on Federal and state security and privacy issues, drafting corporate governance documents and transactional agreements, and advising them on matters related to network termination and insurance denial appeals.
Ms. Siddique earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, with Distinction, from University of Michigan-Dearborn in 2000 and her Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University Law School in 2007. In law school, she served as the Business Editor for the Journal of Law in Society and was a National Team Liaison for the Student Trial Advocacy Program.
