Marc D. McDonald
Marc McDonald has spent his practice representing his clients in the defense of no-fault, automobile negligence, premises liability, and general negligence actions, as well as civil rights and municipal law matters.
Prior to entering the practice, Marc earned his undergraduate degree, cum laude, in business administration from Loyola University Chicago, where he was a member of the men’s basketball team and was an Academic All-Conference selection. He was also inducted into the Phi Alpha Theta history honor society, and won the Business Award for Finance.
Marc later earned his law degree from Wayne State University in 2004, interning in the General Counsel’s Office of the Ford Motor Company legal department. In 2014, Marc was ranked as one of the top 100 trial lawyers in America by The National Trial Lawyers. In 2013, he was published in the New York Times as a “rising star” in Michigan, and in 2014 was listed as one of the top rising star litigators as published in Crain’s Detroit Business and Hour Detroit. He has tried more than 45 jury trials, achieving a stellar win record. He has represented some of the largest insurance companies in the world successfully winning trials on 1st party auto cases, 3rd party auto negligence cases, and premise cases. Marc also became licensed in Illinois in 2013.
